If there’s no such thing as a free lunch, how about free cooling?
Controlling the temperature inside the shelter is a high priority for improving the performance of the telecommunication equipment. Where there are electronics, there is electricity, which produces heat. Add that up with increasing heat densities and skyrocketing electricity bills, things get hotter. Apparently, cooling presents a great challenge to most operators today. This month’s edition we feature precision cooling and the addition of free cooling systems and intelligent controls that make a huge difference to operating costs. |
