Precision Cooling Portfolio
From room, row to rack, there’s a Liebert XD precision cooling unit to answer specific cooling requirements.

Liebert XD™ Components

  • Evaporator (cooling module)
  • Condenser (heat exchanger)
  • Pump
  • XD Coolant – R134a refrigerant
  • Building chilled water (XDP) – 7.2 Celsius H2O; control valve, air cooled condenser (XDC) and water cooled condenser (XDC)

The number of high density servers is causing power, cooling and monitoring demands to rise in most telco data centers such as main switching centers. This increasing need not only negatively impacts operating expenses but also constraining growth because additional IT infrastructure needs can’t be met with the existing low density infrastructure and requires either substantial capital investment in the existing facility or investment in a new data center. This trend will only accelerate with increase adaption of Cloud Computing by Telco Operators.  What some telcos may be overlooking are optimization and scalable features found in next generation solutions that can increase the power and cooling capacity substantially while reducing costs.
