Emerson Network Power will participate at the upcoming Cisco Data Center of the Future event in Malaysia. Scheduled May 19, the event aims to bring together network managers, data center professionals and business and IT decision makers in one collaborative platform.
Emerson’s regional cooling product manager for Asia Pacific, The Chai Huei will discuss the cold aisle containment solution which help dramatically improve cooling and energy efficiency in the data center. The improvement is achieved by a simple and cost-effective containment of cold aisles with better managing and maximizing of existing CRAC system.
Moreover, Emerson will have a solutions gallery showcasing the latest in rack and cooling solutions - the Knurr Data Center in a Rack (DCIR) and Liebert XD system. Suited to SMBs, the enterprise-quality DCIR helps businesses address issues on sustainability, growth and total cost of ownership. Its adaptive architecture enables users to reduce the complexity and time required in building a data center and helps save precious IT space.
The Liebert XD, meanwhile, is a high density system that can cool more than 30kW per rack. Available in floor-, rack- and ceiling-mount configurations, the Liebert XD utilizes pumped refrigerant which is ideal for use around electronic equipment.
The Data Center of the Future will be held at the Nikko Hotel. Over 200 participants are expected to attend the event in Malaysia.
