Emerson to shared industry best practices at Cisco DCOF Taiwan

Emerson Network Power will be at the Data Center of the Future event in Taiwan. Hosted by Cisco, the event series will be held at The Sherwood Taipei, May 14. Over 100 participants, mainly data center professionals, business and sales managers, consultants and IT decision makers, are expected to attend in this collaborative event, which also feature Cisco’s other IT partners. Sharing the industry best practices is Allan Lin, Emerson’s senior sales manager for Taiwan. Lin will discuss the logical approach that can help increase the efficiency of a data center. Taking a holistic approach to energy consumption in the data center, enables a reduction of energy consumption by up to 50%, a reduction in the amount of floor space occupied and also a means to freeing up the installed power and cooling capacity. This approach delivers energy reduction from the IT equipment level down to the supporting systems without compromising performance and availability.
