Asia Pacific Excluding Japan, manufacturing IT spending will reach 22 billion USD in 2010, according to Manufacturing Insights. IDC cited that APEJ manufacturing IT spending was at 15 billion USD in 2005. Further, the top three sub industry segment in terms of IT expenditure is high-tech, automotive and chemical. As 2007 starts to roll, several bets are being made on where companies are putting their spending in IT. IDC predicts that Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) telecom market was worth more than 183 billion USD in 2006. According to IDC, growth projection for 2007 is at 10% which is to exceed at 202 billion USD. Further, growth is attributed to VOIP, Broadband, IP Services and 3G Services.
