About the Energy Logic Model

Emerson Network Power modeled energy consumption for a typical 5,000 square foot data center and analyzed how energy is used within the facility. The proportions stay about the same no matter what size your space. In this analysis, computing equipment accounts for 52 percent of total consumption. Supply-side systems in orange (or systems that exist to meet the requirements of the computing equipment) account for 48 percent of consumption.
