Liebert PSI-XR allows you to get more from your UPS and your protected equipment, with features normally found only on more expensive systems: Liebert PSI-XR operates at a high 0.9 power factor that makes it ideal for today’s modern IT equipment, providing more power for your connected load. Greater than fi ve minutes of internal battery backup time at 100% load measured at pf 0.9 provides ample time for an orderly shutdown of connected equipment. Remote communications and shutdown options provide remote monitoring and power management — WEB/SNMP, USB, contact closure, and remote power off. Optional matching external battery cabinets offer more backup time. Liebert PSI-XR is environment friendly UPS with RoHS R6 compliance.

Why is Emerson Launching Line-Interactive UPS? Isn’t On-Line Better?

• On-line UPS is better than UPS in term of power regulation. It has outstanding performance over poor power conditions such as rural areas and generator power.
• Many users, especially in places that power conditions are mostly reliable, do not matter whether it is OL or LI design. They look at other features such as runtime, power delivery, communications, size, etc.

How Does UPS with Higher Power Factor Benefit Users?

• UPS is rated both in VA and Watts. Exceeding VA or Watts will cause UPS overloaded.
• Modern servers and networking devices are equipped with Power Factor Corrected (PFC) power supply, whose pf is as high as 0.98. It means if power supply is rated at 100VA, it is also rated at 98W.
• UPS with 1000VA/900Watts can support 9 such devices. UPS with 1000VA/700Watts can only support 7 such devices.

Can PSI-XR have additional USB or RS232 port?

• No. PSI has one (1) USB, one (1) serial, one (1) remote power off, and one (1) Liebert Intellislot out-of-box. There is no optional card with ports.

What Software Can We Use for Windows and Non-Windows?

• MultiLink 4.0 support USB communication and Network Shutdown but for Windows OS only.
• MultiLink 4.0 is downloadable from web and CD will be available in the package later this year
• Other OS require to use Multilink 3.x with contact closure communication.

Is Liebert IS-WEBCARD Compatible with PSIXR?

• PSI-XR uses a new webcard, IS-WEBRT3, which is totally different from ISWEBCARD used by GXT2. They are NOT interchangable.

Can Micropod for GXT2 use with PSI-XR?

• Micropod is useful when there is UPS fault and it needs to replace UPS.
• Micropod can be used with PSI-XR as far as electrical bypass is concerned. However, Micropod needs to be rack mounted on a rack. It does not mechanically fit at the back of PSI-XR UPS.

What Is The Warranty of Liebert PSI-XR?
