Meet Jackie Chen, Director of Emerson Network Power’s Telecom Business in Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.  Chen has been in Emerson for 7 years and has acquired a keen understanding of industry issues as well as the business challenges of most telecom operators. His job includes ensuring telecom project installation exceeds customer satisfaction.

According to Chen, telecom providers are feeling the pressure of increased competition when it comes to deployment of the next-generation of technology. They are simultaneously dealing with quality of service, reliability and the ROI of both new and existing infrastructures, ever mindful of costly failures and downtime.

He says that most participants were interested on improving facility management, reducing OPEX and sustaining remote networks. “It’s interesting to know how operators are opening up to new technologies and how Emerson can help them stay ahead of the curve, navigate through change or deal with the unknown.”
