According to him, subscriber growth for mobile operators in the country has become modest.  “With the wide range of offerings, it has become easier for customers to switch between providers. To prevent this, the incumbents and even the start-ups are offering attractive incentives for price-conscious subscribers.” As a result, operators are focused on lowering CAPEX and OPEX. “Most operators are trying to overcome this challenge by seeking opportunities where they can curb costs without compromising quality of their services,” he adds.
