Miracel Standard Cabinet

Emerson Network Power presents the Knurr Miracel rack series - a racking system for electronics that provides a cost-effective solution for every conceivable application with metric and 19" components which is available in a water-proof configuration. Miracel is constructed from aluminium extrusions connected by die-cast aluminium corner pieces. Self-adjusting corner pieces permit fast assembly of individual components without the need for special tools.

The patented Knurr mounting nut cuts down assembly times for built-in units even further. The mounting nut is inserted in the mounting rail and permits adjustable assembly in 25 mm and 19" format.

Miracel also accommodates 19" vertical extrusions and metric extrusions for widths accepting 18 and 20 modules. This additional future-proof feature provides for all future developments without the need for further design input for conversion from 19" to metric format. The new extrusion creates more space inside the rack. This means more room for cabling and electronics, as well as improved thermal management. Improved ratio between internal and external dimensions allows Miracel to meet the growing challenges posed by increases in packaging densities for electronics.

The use of aluminium components throughout allows Miracel to comply with the requirement to provide a lightweight construction with high strength and stability. The low weight facilitates transportation and assembly while at the same time offering a very stable rack. The 180? opening is of particular importance when racks are bayed up in rack suites. One person can easily re-hang the reversible door on-site to open on left or right.

Other features include design interfaces allowing users to adapt packaging systems to their individual colour schemes, a comprehensive range of accessories, compatibility with the existing product range and compliance with all the relevant standards and regulations.

The trim extrusions on the door and rack allow users to adapt enclosures to their individual colour scheme.		Even racks with 600 mm width have space available in the sides for continuous cable feed or thermal management.

The compact design ensures that 82% of the overall space is available as useful area for installed units or cable management.

One person can easily re-hang the reversible door on-site to open on right or left. Optimum access to installed components for assembly and service operations is provided by 180 deg. opening angle in front and rear doors.		Side panels and rear panels can be removed in seconds by releasing the quick-release fasteners to facilitate rapid assembly of components.

Secure against unauthorized access with optionally lockable doors, side panels and rear panels with a choice of lock.		Simple assembly of built-in components with variable mounting and adjustable assembly in integrated 19" increments or 25 mm increments using the mounting rail incorporating Knurr's proven T-slot/spring nut design.

180 deg. Swing frame permits easy access to the installed components, and to the second mounting level or mounting panel.

Mobile plinth has 4-point castor mounting and 2 integrated wheel locks for mobile applications.		Cost-effective transportation and warehousing with flat-pack kits available (on request). Low weight combines easy handling at the assembly site with maximum stability during application.
