A happy (fiscal year) 2012 to you all!
With the new year comes a renewed commitment to further grow the Solutions Partner program. This year we’re putting all focus on our core operations, following the segmentation of the Solutions Partner and Distribution businesses. This move is timely given the rapid growth of the SP business, with over 50% growth and more than 30 new partners in 2011 alone. In this issue we recap the past year's highlights, and make a case for why 2012 looks to be another banner year for all of us!
This year will see even more exciting solutions offered to partners, with our portfolio expanding to include Avocent and Chloride Industrial UPS solutions. With the integration of all our brands -- Liebert, ASCO, Avocent, Chloride and such -- we truly have the most extensive solutions portfolio to open new markets and opportunities outside your core business.
Cheers to the hardworking Emerson Network Power channels team, and to you, our valued Solutions Partners! May we all continue to break ground in all our respective endeavors.

Why Smart Solutions from Emerson Network Power?
In realizing our Solutions Partner program, we sought to provide a framework through which we can provide the accumulated value of Emerson’s experience and expertise to customers in the SMB market and network enterprise space.
Smart Solutions provides substance to this program through deeper training and certification, educational materials and partner provisioning, a robust and solution-centric customer engagement platform, as well as tools to track and measure efficacy by solution rather than by product.
As you become more involved with Smart Solutions, your approach to engaging with customers will change. A ”needs-based analysis” of your customer will become second nature with the resulting solutions and sales strengthening your relationship with that business. Smart Solutions offers infrastructure support for current requirements as well as giving customers a path to follow over time. This in turn brings us back to our primary goal: enabling you, our Solutions Partners, to become your customers’ trusted advocate for critical infrastructure, with Emerson’s support.
This new section in Fast Track is hereon dedicated to orienting you with the overall ¬Smart Solutions campaign, as well as the scenarios which Smart Solutions revolves around. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months! |
