A Look Back at 40 Years of Surge Protection Excellence
 

1971 - Control Concepts Corporation is established as a consulting engineering firm.
1972 - The company developed a patented technology known as Islatrol™ Active Tracking Filters™ that quickly became (and still remains) an industry standard.
1990 - Control Concepts was acquired by Liebert Corporation, a subsidiary of Emerson.
1997 - Edco, Inc. was acquired, enhancing our breadth of products with its low-voltage surge protection line.
2000 - The company became part of Emerson Network Power, a business platform within Emerson.
2007 - The company is officially designated as Emerson Network Power Surge Protection Incorporated.
2009 - Emerson Network Power Surge Protection opened its new 40,000 square-foot headquarters and state-of-the-art test lab in Binghamton, NY.
2011 - Emerson Network Power Surge Protection celebrates its 40th anniversary of providing customers with innovative surge protection solutions!
