MANILA, PHILIPPINES (May 26, 2009) – Emerson has been ranked as the largest company in the electronics and electrical equipment category on the Fortune 500 list of America’s largest corporations. Additionally, the magazine ranked Emerson 11th among the 20 most profitable technology companies. Emerson’s 12 percent revenue growth in fiscal 2008 helped propel the electronics and electrical equipment category to 18th in the magazine’s “top industries: fast growers” ranking, compared to 28th in 2007.
