Jakarta, Indonesia, 24 August 2011 – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and a global leader in maximizing availability, capacity and efficiency of critical infrastructure, announced a new series of workshops created to strengthen delivery of Efficiency without Compromise™ -- a strategy for optimizing data center infrastructure to reduce cost and deliver availability -- among customers in Indonesia.
“In response to the government’s challenge to work towards sustainable green initiatives during the Green ICT Eco-Innovation ICT Conference, we are kicking off a series of workshops designed to educate end-users on how to implement a higher level of efficiency in their operations,” said Susilo Hadi, country manager of Emerson Network Power in Indonesia. “These workshops will run throughout the region in the last quarter of 2011, to be carried out through Emerson's network of Solutions Partners.”
Participants will be introduced to the latest Emerson solutions and learn best practices for energy efficiency. Furthermore, they will be entitled to a data centre walk-thru, which will give them objective visibility into their respective facilities’ current performance, and help build a case for their future expansion or optimization plans.
“The planned workshops revolve around our Efficiency without Compromise™ campaign, a model for applying best-of-breed power, cooling and data center infrastructure management solutions, to allow IT organizations to more efficiently deploy and use all of their resources throughout the life of the data center—including physical space, capital equipment dollars, design and management time, service costs and energy,” added Hadi. With Emerson Network Power enabling more energy-efficient operations, companies are able to operate greener, while lowering OPEX and increasing profit margins.
