MANILA, PHILIPPINES [October 27, 2009] – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™ unveiled the latest addition to Southeast Asia’s Learning Center training program, further enhancing channel partners capability through the Uptime Partner program.
The Uptime Partner program is designed to enable channel partners to bring enterprise level expertise to small and medium businesses (SMB) through training, sizing and selection tools, marketing and technical support and most importantly via access to the complete portfolio of Emerson Network Power products and services. An integral component of the program is the Learning Center series which provides structured training to partners on Emerson’s solutions and best practices in supporting IT infrastructure.

The Learning Center program provides information on the latest technology trends, particularly Emerson Network Power’s integrated power, cooling, monitoring and enclosures as well as unequaled service support. Through this training program, partners will be equipped with the right tools and knowledge to address their SMB customer needs.
“We select strong and skilled partners who can act as in-house consultants to SMBs and provide high value expertise to their customers. Currently, we are expanding our capability to reach out to the SMB market by appointing value-added resellers, network solution partners and key distributors in the region,” added Mehar.
Mehar is responsible for strengthening the company’s channel business and expanding its reach through the introduction of new products and technologies in the region. He has more than seven years of experience in the channels and IT industry, specifically in telecom and equipment manufacturing. Previously, he worked with Philips, Tech Pacific and Samsung.
Mehar holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Mumbai University and master’s degree in marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute. He is based in Singapore.
