How does it work?
Customer sets threshold for environmental factors (ex: UPS Load, Rack/Room Temperature)
An email, SMS or an SNMP trap is sent to the customer when issues are detected
The data monitored is recorded in XML data format allowing export to third party applications such as databases,spreadsheets, etc.
It also records all critical systems condition in data and event log which can then be used for capacity planning and trending
