This month the spotlight stays on Avocent, as we take the time out to introduce its Data Centre Planner offering. The Data Centre Planner is literally a winning solution, having won the distinction of ‘Tomorrow’s Technology Today’ early this year, as decided by Info Security Products Guide.
Rewarded for winning the remote access solution category, the Avocent Data Center Planner was selected as one of the technologies that are making the most positive impact on security in today’s highly sophisticated and blended attacks environment. Read up on how this product supports the statement “Knowledge Is Power” and how it can make heroes out of your customers in this issue’s main feature.
This month we also introduce you to Mary Katsidis, head of the local Enterprise Solutions Group, who can assist you with customised solutions for your SMB customers.
Enjoy the rest of month!
Cheers,
Renata Weber

The Avocent Data Centre Planner
With dynamic applications such as virtualisation increasing the rate of change among data centres, facility managers need full visibility of their infrastructure in order to effectively manage it. Facility management in this sense is defined as insight into how equipment is being utilised; where it’s residing; how much power it’s using and what would happen if certain changes are implemented. With that kind of power at their fingertips, your customers will be able to reduce costs and manage rapid change with few resources, no matter how complex their infrastructure is. More |
