Alex Tay graduated with an Electrical Engineering Degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and has 15 years of IT experience working for IBM, Cisco Systems and Equant. He held several sales and management positions in a wide variety of jobs relating to networking solutions, cabling, relocation, data centre design and construction, contact centre, system management, security services, Microsoft/Linux migration services and maintenance services. He was services country manager responsible for infrastructure services supporting customers in Finance, Public, Industrial, Communication, Distribution and SMB sectors. He extended his wealth of experience to his customers in areas relating to infrastructure solutions,
both at strategic and at tactical and technical levels.
In his current portfolio, Alex Tay is the Regional Service Product Line Manager for Business Continuity and Resiliency Services and Site and Facilities Services. As a Business Continuity Certified Specialist (BCCS), Alex helps customers with resilient solutions supporting their mission critical business systems and processes. These solutions include consulting, testing, recovery
facilities and maintenance. Alex also has responsibility for Data center services, providing customers with expertise and best practices in building and managing their data centres. Alex speaks widely in the area of green data centers helping customers manage the operating cost of running the data centers. |

David Yip leads the Data Centre Practice in IBM Australia and is responsible for Data centre services, providing customers with expertise and best practices in building and managing their data centres. With many years in the data centre industry and experience in senior sales and business development roles within the data centre and telecommunications industries David is well qualified for his leadership role in developing capabilities in the data centre practice including data centre consulting, design and build and assessment services. David has a Bachelor of Science/Information Systems from Melbourne University and is a member of the IBM Global Data Centre Strategy community of practice. David is an expert in the area of green data centres and helping customers manage the operating cost of running the data centre. |

Prior to this role, he has 13 years experience as CE and 8 years as project manager. Jack graduated at Tatung Institute of Technology, majoring in EE.

Oh Bee Joo is a certified PMP/IBM Certified Senior Project Manager and Senior IT Specialist with IBM GTS-ASEAN/SA Strategic Outsourcing and ITS-ASEAN Site and Facilities Services.
A practitioner and solutions architect in IT infrastructure, network, hardware, software, security, applications, processes, operations and audit for 28 years, Oh Bee Joo managed the Asia Pacific IT business for two of the world's biggest financial institutions - Chase Manhattan Bank and Chemical Bank – for 8 years and completed their Asia Pacific IT consolidation, as well as Global IT merger and acquisition consolidation from hundreds of processing sites down to a few.
Her 10 years with IBM as subject matter expert allowed her to design, build, operate and manage the entire IT processing environment for IBM AP & ASEAN region. She provides consultancy to customer on-site assessment, initiate consolidation and optimization studies, as well as financial modeling for their IT investments. |

Soeparwan Soelaeman joined IBM in 1983 as a Marketing Trainee. In his 25 years with the company he has undertaken several key roles in the sale and business development in numerous business units. He was instrumental in the smooth transition process from IBM Personal Computing Division to Lenovo.
Soeparwan Soelaeman currently assumes the Country Manager post for IBM Global Technology Services. In this position, he is responsible for revenue, contract signing, and profit responsibilities for IBM Global Technology Services business. Prior to this role Soeparwan was the country manager for ibm.com where he led the high-performing ibm.com team in driving continuous market growth in support of Territory, Sector and Brands.
