Emerson Network Power Recognized for its Datacentre Cooling Solution at Computerworld HK Awards 2009 Emerson Network Power has been recognized for its innovative precision cooling solution for datacenters by Computerworld Hong Kong. The company received the Datacenter Cooling Systems Award for its technological achievement. The award ceremony will be held at The Butterfield’s on June 9, 2009.

Emerson’s unique precision cooling system addresses the new thermal challenges brought by increasing computing requirements and high-density equipment that traditional cooling systems fail to resolve. The cooling system is designed to specifically meet the increasing demands for heat rejection, humidity control, filtration and other requirements in datacenters and other mission-critical facilities.

The annual competition identifies successful products, solutions and companies preferred by Hong Kong IT users’ needs and requirements. Nominees were determined through discussion with focus groups that include IT analysts, experts and Computerworld Hong Kong editors. Readers were also given free rein to nominate during the dynamic selection process.
